This guide covers everything you need to know about planning and managing rides in Regroup.
Creating a Ride
Section titled “Creating a Ride”- Navigate to Dashboard → Rides
- Click “Create Ride”
- Fill in the ride details
Basic Information
Section titled “Basic Information”| Field | Description | Required |

| Title | Ride name (e.g., “Sunday Morning Loop”) | Yes |
| Date & Time | When the ride starts | Yes |
| Meeting Point | Start location with address | Yes |
| Description | Additional details | No |
Route Selection
Section titled “Route Selection”Choose how to define the route:
- Select existing — Pick from saved routes
- Create new — Draw a new route
- No route — For spontaneous rides
Advanced Options
Section titled “Advanced Options”- Group restrictions — Limit to specific groups
- Max participants — Set a capacity limit
- Recurring — Create weekly/monthly series
Managing Participants
Section titled “Managing Participants”Viewing Signups
Section titled “Viewing Signups”See who’s coming:
- Going — Confirmed attendees
- Maybe — Tentative responses
- Total — Combined count
Participant List
Section titled “Participant List”Access the full list:
- Open the ride
- Click the “Going” count
- View all participants with names
Weather Integration
Section titled “Weather Integration”Rides automatically display:
- Temperature forecast
- Precipitation chance
- Wind conditions
Ride Communication
Section titled “Ride Communication”Announcements
Section titled “Announcements”Send messages to participants:
- Open the ride
- Click “Announce”
- Write your message
- Choose notification method
Last-Minute Changes
Section titled “Last-Minute Changes”To update ride details:
- Edit the ride
- Check “Notify participants”
- Save changes
Cancelling Rides
Section titled “Cancelling Rides”To cancel:
- Open the ride
- Click “Cancel Ride”
- Optionally add a reason
- Confirm
All registered participants receive a notification.
After the Ride
Section titled “After the Ride”Post-ride options:
- Mark as completed — Confirm the ride happened
- Log stats — Record actual distance/elevation
- Add photos — Share ride memories
