Rides & Routes

Routes and Rides are the core activity components in Regroup. They work together to help you plan and execute group cycling activities.

A Route is a saved cycling path that can be reused for multiple rides.

  • Track: GPS coordinates defining the path
  • Distance: Total length in kilometers/miles
  • Elevation: Cumulative elevation gain
  • Difficulty: Calculated score based on distance and elevation
  • Category: Route type (Road, Gravel, MTB, Mixed)

Routes can be created by:

  1. Draw on map — Use the interactive editor
  2. Import GPX — Upload existing GPS files
  3. From ride — Convert a completed ride to a route
